The members of Loops have authored a sizeable repertoire for themselves and their collaborators.
Our compositions act as vehicles for improvisation, framed by formal structures which take inspiration from Indian classical music (both Hindusthani and Carnatic), Western classical music, jazz and other world musics.
These compositions have often been tailored for special events, such as "Wide Awake" for early childhood theatrical performances, and "Airwaves: 100 Years of Radio", a commission from the Brisbane Biennial Festival of Music.
Some compositions are available for viewing on-line. These are able to be viewed and played for free, and downloaded and printed for a small fee at SibeliusMusic.com. Before you can do this you need to install the free Scorch plug-in into your web browser.
